Supper's Ready
Going to a wedding this weekend and wonder if there will be a crasher there. Went to one for my niece a few weeks ago, at least two were there (they found them and booted them out). Been to several weddings over the years, and some of them seem to have a commonality. My own wedding had one, a man who played the part well. Until bridee and I both looked at each other at one point and gave the questioning facial expression "who is he?" to each other. The establishment then tossed him out when I pointed him out at the bar while the rest were getting seated.
Some of these crashers are good, real good at what they do. They aim to get comfortable enough with the people there, and make their move. A couple I know had one at their wedding, and he waited for the opportunity and grabbed the handbag which the bride left on her table (which contained wedding present "envelopes"). They didn't know who to thank or for what, afterwards (very embarrassing).
Spring seems to have a lot of weddings. Anyone have any wedding crasher stories?
