The place I took mine to was in DC and isn't around anymore so I can't recommend a place in particular. But I can tell you I looked around for months before getting it done. I ended up going to this particular dry cleaner because they did an awesome job with drycleaning my other clothes and was very detail oriented. I had them do the cleaning & preservation and put it in a special non-toxic (or whatever it's called) box so that the box did not deteriorate and mess up the dress. It cost $100 but they did an awesome job. The box is half the size of me, the top is hinged and opens to where you can view the dress through a window. The dress is literally stuffed so that there are few, if any, folds or creases. When you do pick some cleaners to go to, ask what they do / how they do it and see if they have any preserved dresses they can show you.
