I need to find a good but relatively inexpensive place to do my hair and some of my girls' for my wedding in June. I am not familiar with what places cut and style. Do all salons cut and style? or do some just cut? (I have had my hair cut at home most of my life). I have no idea what to do with my hair!! Right now it is straight and down to my butt! I need some of the nassy ends cut off but dont want to go too short. I need a place that will listen to what I want, but also give me some direction as far as cut and what style might work for my wedding. I am in Calvert, and would love to go some place in the county.

If you can't find somebody in Calvert, send me a PM. The lady who does my hair is in St. Mary's (Great Mills area) and she specializes in updos and the like. I have medium length (middle of my back) hair and she has NEVER done me wrong. Very very reasonable prices, especially when I compare her prices to other places.

Go see Erin @ Michaelangelos in Lusby. They are in the shopping center where the Lusby Post Office, Jake and Al's, etc, are. Erin is awesome.....She is the ONLY one I trust with my hair. 410-394-6762. They do everything from regular cuts and color to wedding cuts and color to updos and styling for weddings, everything you can think of. They will even do your makeup.

Scalped Salon on Main St in Prince Frederick. Not sure how their prices compare with what you're looking to spend but it's worth a call. Love them there!

I wouldn't recommend you get a hair cut right before your wedding. If you don't like it..you will be stuck with the pictures forever. I would go get a trim a little bit before the wedding..and have them practice hairstyles on you..so you won't be surprised. Updos can be redone..haircuts can't. :)

Thanks! One of my bridesmaids found someone who will come to our house and do hair. We will see how that goes. I will def be getting a haircut sometime before the wedding, but not too close. Have decided on a very simple do!
Is Julie's the place in Solomons?

Julie will come to your house also. Just give her a call 301-737-0700. You won't be disappointed. She's the best stylist for weddings in the business. :buddies:

I would recomend Total eclipse in Solomons i go there all the time :dye:
