I am looking for a wedding make-up artist that comes to you but can not find anyone. Does anyone have a suggestion of who might do this?

Most hair salons have someone that will do wedding makeup. I'd try calling yours and if you don't have luck, there are several in the St Mary's area (Bella, SKape, Hair It Is, etc.).

I am so very blessed
Just out of curiosity, why would you want to wear make-up that is different than your every day make-up?

You want the people in the church - especially the groom - to at least recognize you.

I second Hair in the Square. Tracy came out to my wedding site and did hair and makeup for 8 of us the morning of. She did a great job!

In My Opinion
I wont buy a car if I detect 20lbs of bondo used to make it look good... Why would I pick a wife with the same amount of makeup.

If you don't realize this until you are standing on the altar, you deserve the lemon you bought.

For goodness sakes, some of you are so stupid that it's annoying AND embarrassing.

It is a common practice for women to have someone else do their hair and makeup for a wedding for a number of reasons. Nerves = shaky hands, for one thing. Another reason is because professional makeup artists are supposed know how to apply make-up appropriately so that it both looks good in real life AND shows up nicely in the pictures, which last forever and cost lots of money. What is so wrong with trying your best to present yourself as nicely as possible, dressing up for the occasion, when giving yourself to another person? No, it does not necessarily mean you need "20lbs of bondo"...unless of course, that's the look you're going for.

The Hair Company in Leonardtown does makeup using Bare Minerals. Also, Crystelle at The Hair Port does makeup using MAC cosmetics and knows how to apply it appropriately for the pictures. One look at how nice and natural her makeup looks and you'll know that she knows what she's doing.

Good luck on your big day! I hope you have a wonderful wedding and a long, happy marriage!
