Will all the men please go stand beside that one person who has made their life bearable!"
The bartender was almost crushed to death.

The first time I heard this joke, back in the middle 1970's, I thought it was cute and clever. It wasn't then, but I was a kid, so I hadn't heard it before then.

I was in my mid20's then and never heard it until now. A chuckle is appropriate.
