Since I have this nice 5-day weekend, I did some work on my bike. I started off on Friday with an oil change which apparently has never been done on the bike because the drain plug was still factory-gorilla-tight. Got that done and proceeded to install a Factory Pro shift kit (a highly recommended modification for the YZF600). Of course, I didn't have the right size socket for that (27mm), so I had to run to the store to try and find one. I finally finished that...and then found out that I screwed something up. There are two different length clutch springs and you are supposed to alternate them (I didn't notice that they were different lengths). 
So, I opened it back up on Saturday and fixed my mistake. 
Then I installed my new windscreen. 
Today, I worked on drivetrain. I replaced the sprockets and chain...sprockets went from a 15/47 setup to a 14/49 and the chain was slightly rusty, but usable when I got it. I decided to change it while doing the sprocket change to be on the safe side. After that, I cleaned myself up and took it for a quick spin around the block to make sure everything was functioning properly and everything worked flawlessly 
So then I sat back with a cigar and a few beers while I put the fairings back on and admired my handiwork 
Hopefully the weather will be good enough to go for some short rides on Monday and Tuesday. Here are some pics of the final product. I put all the reflective stuff on a while ago.
