PGPD Weekend Homicide in Suitland Under Investigation

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man in Suitland Sunday afternoon. The victim is 43-year-old Carl D. Tucker 2ndof Washington, DC.


On October 10, 2021, at approximately 3:45 pm, officers responded to the 3500 block of Parkway Terrace Drive for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located the victim outside in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.
