Weekly World News...

Tonio

Asperger's Poster Child
Back in the Middle Ages, cats were occasionally executed for murder. There was a myth that cats could kill by stealing the breath of sleeping humans.

I like the idea of the Weekly World News. It's funny to see how riduculous the stories can get. The rag doesn't take itself seriously, unlike the celebrity-gossip sheets. I think of it as the counterpart to The Onion without the social commentary. For some reason, the only place I see the WWN is at Raley's.

The front page has a picture of a kitten strapped down on the table, waiting for its lethal injection :killingme

It was just so ridiculous that we had to get it

I used to have a subscription for two years. Every issue has at least ONE completely hilarious and outrageous article.

Some of my past favorites:

Squeamish doctor throws up in patient....
Hitler's dog was gay!
Vampire sues airline over destroyed coffin!

One of the stories this week is how cigarette companies are targeting your pet. Then had all these reasons why dogs and cats are safer for tobacco companies than humans:

Pets don't live as long, so they'll likely die of something else before they die of cigarettes.

Pets can't sue.

They already have bad breath.

Dogs already pant and wheeze.
