Monello and I watched "Concrete Cowboy" last night - interesting, well acted, no surprises, good story. Anyway, the kid in the movie gets told by his dad (played by Idris Elba ) to not hang around with this other kid because he's a drug dealer headed for trouble. So what does the kid do? That's right, hangs out with the drug dealer and gets in trouble.
Anyway, I tend to think about things on a larger scale and apply them to other situations. So while I'm watching that movie going, "Okay, that's why Idris Elba told you not to hang around with that kid. Dumbass," I'm also thinking about real life things we tell our kids, and they ignore us until it bites them in the ass. And then I thought about the political situation we find ourselves in, where you can't tell the progs anything because they don't listen and toddle off to get bitten in the ass.
That's why I'm not alarmed about these cities falling to chit and the residents who voted for it being terrorized. People need to get bit in the ass, the sooner the better. At some point they'll figure it out - most of them, anyway - and they'll start voting better. And it may not even be them; it may be their kids who go, "Wow, our parents were really stupid," and usher in a restored America.
But these things do cycle and this time in our history is not the worst it's ever been. Dude, we've had a civil war before. We've had extreme unrest orchestrated by the overlords. We've had horrible presidents. Voters were so stupid and brainwashed they freaking elected Jimmy Carter. BUT! They quickly realized their mistake and that led to two terms for Ronald Reagan and the resurgence of America first. So I'm guessing that Joe Biden is their Jimmy Carter - their enormous mistake that is so profoundly bad they'll make an abrupt U-turn here shortly. And by "shortly" I don't mean tomorrow or the next day - it may take a few years.
We're seeing the pushback from Dem voters already. I don't think many of them understand why this is happening (answer: it's their fault because they're ignorant and vote like chit), but they know that what they're seeing isn't what they had in mind. And at some point they'll do more than tweet about it.
There really aren't that many true Marxists in this country, it just seems that way because they own the news and social media and have a big ol' honking bullhorn. Most Democrat voters are just mindless dumbshits who do what the TV tells them and go back to watching chicks on Tik Tok. At some point they'll take a Cheeto break and be like, "Hey....wait a minute...."
I could be wrong, for all I know it's too late and the Marxists have too much power now for us to ever beat them back. But then I put myself in the place of a Southerner during the Civil War and Reconstruction, and figure it will all work out at some point.
