:lmao: No guitars for Larry this month! I done spent it all on Philosophy body wash for me and for Mother's Day presents.

I got:

Old Fashioned Lemonade
Lavender Poundcake
Cinnamon Bun (oh man!)
Melon Daiquiri
Senorita Margarita
Mimosa
Kiwi Martini
Blue Hawaiian
Wedding Cake
Bridal Bouquet

I am completely in love with this stuff! As God is my witness, I'll never shop at BBW again! :drama:

What and where is Sephora?
It's a beauty supply/makeup store. There's one in Georgetown, and one at Pentagon City, but you can also order online (more selection). They have a wide range of products, and I haven't bought anything there that I didn't like and was 100% satisfied with.

Hey Vrai--Larry just made an all-day trip to Gil Southworth's and Chuck Levin's. His van is filled with Les Paul Customs, pre-CBS Strats, tweed Twin Reverbs and plexi Marshalls. When he gets home, he's going to hook up all the amps and play Hendrix's version of the Star Spangled Banner, followed by a 20-hour tribute to Dimebag Darrell which will short out all the generators at Allegany Power.

Quit peeking in my windows. You can knock on the door and come in like a civilized person.

I am so very blessed
I just want a lotion or scrub that smells like lotion or scrub. Why make all the items smell like food or drinks? It just makes me want to eat it or drink it.

:yeahthat: I thought vrai's list was food-related at first.

I have enough problems with insects attacking me without enticing them by smelling like a dessert.

A few years ago my daughter had a slumber party with her best friends for her birthday. I bought "slumber party spas" for the girls from Sephora. They came in cans and looked like a can of paint. Inside were all kinds of lotions and "spa" treatments for the girls. They loved it!

It is good stuff, and I think it is worth every penny. Then again  I think I own every beauty product made for skin care and I am not allowed to use any of it, anymore.

I am using salic acid and Retin-A, since I'm doing photochemical treatments. Sounds lovely

:lmao: Just be glad none of you all work with me, because my skin is red, peeling and patchy and I am not allowed to wear make-up for awhile. :yikes:

In the long run, I'll be happy with the results.

I've had two friends go through those treatments and neither of them had good results. I hope it works better for you.

No doubt, it is miserable for one thing, pealing so badly, and there is no guarantee that it will cure any acne problems. However, this treatment is being done for scar removal, somewhat different, and the more peeling and flaking my skin does as a result of the procedures, the better chances the scars will fade.

My husband said to tell you thanks! I went to sephora and bought a bunch of things yesterday. My only complaint was they were out of the lemonade body wash. :ohwell: Went to Philosopy's web site and they had a set of three full size (margarita, mimosa, daiquiri) for $40. I could have saved $8. The apple was more expensive on their web site though. Ever tried "hope in a jar" just curious how it works?

Worth every penny. I use the Purity Made Simple cleanser, the Hope in a Tube eye cream and the Hope in a Jar moisturizer. It's expensive as hell but you only use a little so it lasts a lot longer than other products.

Tell your husband I said he's welcome

What makes this stuff so much better than anything on the market? Just curious. I actually hadn't even heard of Philosophy or Sephora until this thread. :blushing:

I recently bought 'Love Spell' by Victorias Secret (3-piece $8 winning bid on eBay) w/out even smelling it first and I LOVE it!! Excellent fragrance!
