I remember growing up and life was so slow and boring. 10 channels on the TV, most of which all signed off at midnight, hardcopy newspapers and magazines, shopping was in the store or via a catalog, the US mail system actually worked, hardwired telephones with rotary dials and calls to Grandma cost big bucks.

Politicians were crooks, but today, it is far more obvious. People are getting sick and tired of politicians getting rich using inside information, a tactic that if employed by any one of us would put us in a federal prison. Just ask Martha Stewart.









And the list goes on and on. Amazingly enough, Gaetz and AOC have teamed up to introduce a bill to allegedly stop this. Just shows you how bad it is when these two put down their knives and swords and come together on an issue.

Conservative influencers have been warning people for years to get out of the big cities. The latest lunacy involves yet another lunatic assaulting rider on the NYC subway system. This time, a US Marine was on hand and decided to subdue the lunatic to stop him from hurting anyone. It went bad and the man died. Now the race baiters and lunatic left are painting this as a murder of a poor misunderstood mentally ill black man. The guy had 41 prior arrests, allegedly tried to push someone on to the tracks days earlier and allegedly punched an elderly woman in the face. Unfortunate that the guy died, but law abiding citizens who just want to go about their day don't have undergo your assault just because you are mentally ill or on drugs. If they indict this poor guy, I predict we will see one of the largest online legal defense funds in history.

There is probably a lot of truth in this meme. Any time some one starts crying poverty and is seeking someone else to pay their bills, they should be required to open their books for inspection.

Had a friend who was active in their church. The church used to help people pay their rent if in need. However, before handing out free money, they required the seeker of other people's funds to open their books to determine the true need, and offer advice as to where they could adjust their budgets. You can probably imagine what comes next. When my friend was counseling one applicant, she advised the woman that she would need to cut her exorbitant monthly cable bill before the church would help. The applicant went crazy and expressed her entitlement to HBO and it didn't end well. For the race baiters, this was a predominantly black church.
