...that's an old one and how does it make any sense? Wouldn't the time to have done this have been leading up to the '06 mid terms? Now, it serves what purpose? Iraq is THE issue and Bush is the one who made Osama an after thought. Announcing his 'sudden' death, well, how would that play?
This is far from a Bush bash - I mean, my post that is...
I support Bush and what we are doing... but give me one second.
On the surface it does not make sense - but what I stated does make a bit of sense from a conspiracy theory - if this thought was reality that the card would have been played for the Executive Office to say "look, we got him" when 43's ratings started to nosedive on the Iraq (IZ) invasion... we as Bush supporters can stand back and say, "all of our resources have payed off"
Today, Iraq is the issue - but, initially we went into Afghanistan to bring OBL to justice, and we are still trying to do so today... once we got into AF that was the foot in the door to invade IZ...
Think outside of the box for a second. I honestly believe, waaaay deep down, the war in IZ was to take out Sadam Hussein, something 41 could not do and with 43 in office with just the right scenario he could close the book on Sadam Hussein.
Sadam Hussein should have been taken out, Iraqie citizens suffered an atrocity during his reign and hopefully democracy will prevail over there... but deep down I think the door opened to do something his father could not do.
