New breeds debut

I for one was glad to see the Tibetan mastiff, the Beauceron, the Swedish vallhund, and the Plott hound in this weeks Westminister show. IMHO the Plott is perhaps the world's toughest dog-the ninja warrior of dogs!

I saw the Plott hound, nice dog, strange name.

The Plott hound has been the state dog of NC since 1988 and a common sight for more than a century in eastern Tennessee, where, by one owner's estimate, "about every third dog tied up back of someone's house is a Plott."
