We really DO have it all in NoVa!

President Bush officially became a candidate for reelection today by registering his campaign with the Federal Election Commission, the White House said.

The headquarters will be in Northern Virginia, likely in Arlington, but a lease has not been signed, officials said. The papers were filed at 10:49 a.m.

I really hate it when sitting presidents refuse to say that they are running for reelection. We all know that they are.

It's too bad the President won't win this time...

Dems,

It’s 18 months before the election, should the President declare his intent for the next election upon taking the Inaugural Oath?

Who will beat him? I’m anxious to hear who it is that you think will win (given your track record since joining the forum Bush should be a shoe-in :lmao:).

It looks as if Lieberman, Edwards, Gephardt, Kerry, and Graham have shots at defeating the president I feel. It's just a feeling.

Nah - it's a figurative $10 anyway since neither of us will ever collect. I just want to be able to say "Hey, Dems - where's my $10?"

My bet is it will be either Lieberman or Kerry (or maybe both) against Bush and Bush will win handily.
