President Bush opened several new scathing lines of attack against Democrat John Kerry, charges that twisted his rival's words on Iraq and made Kerry seem supportive of deposed dictator Saddam Hussein.

It was not unlike the spin that Kerry and his forces sometimes place on Bush's words.

The story goes on to detail the twisting of Kerry's words without detailing any of the other sides.

I like how Bush has several new SCATHING lines of ATTACK, while Kerry's forces SOMETIMES SPIN.

Where is the story detailing all the times Kerry does it?

AP does this crap all the time. I harangue Yahoo fairly regularly about this but they don't seem to care. Or maybe they don't have a better news source because Reuters does it too.

I saw this story earlier with a different headline. It basically said something like "Bush twists Kerry's words" then in the body of the article burried deep it said Kerry did it too.
