Kevin O’Leary slams ‘wasteland’ San Francisco over store closures, bad policies: ‘It is not America anymore’

Everybody has figured out that California is a disaster, says the 'Shark Tank' star

The O’Leary Ventures chairman discussed the political mishaps by California leadership that are plaguing the state’s largest cities, and encouraged viewers to see the downfall for themselves.

"Walk around San Francisco. It is not America anymore. It just isn’t," he stressed on "Cavuto: Coast to Coast" Monday.

When it comes to the city’s rapid decline, O’Leary blamed it on bad policies, bad taxes and the lack of a sensible legal system.

"What a wasteland. All of these places shutting down. It is not a partisan argument. When a Walgreens shuts down and a drug store shuts down and a convenience store shuts down, a bodega shuts down, that’s nothing to do with whether you’re blue or red," O’Leary explained.

Again, vote better or shut up.
It is a shame, though. I've been to SF and Oakland a number of times over the years, and enjoyed it every time. You couldn't give me an all-expenses paid vacation there now. I'd cash it in and go to Nebraska - even though, honestly, it's not for everyone.

When I still lived there, we used to take day trips to The City on a regular basis. I haven't been there since 2012. No desire to go at this point, I know I'd be terribly disappointed now.

Exactly the same for NYC when I lived in NY. I loved going in at holiday time. And we all called it "The City" as well.

I always thought that NYC would be fun at Christmas, but then again, I don't like the crowds or the cold. I have been up a couple of times, and I no longer feel the need to go back with all the crime and illegals BS.

I was raised in upstate NY. Never went to NYC until I moved to PA. Definitely wouldn't go back now.
