When going into the woods where there is tall grass or brush we have come out to find these very teeny-tiny brown bugs on us (I know it's not chiggars as you can't see them). They take some effort to get them off and even after scrubbing, by the next day they leave small red bumps that itch like mad. Anyone know what the heck these things are and what to do for the itching???

If it's what I think it is, they are probably seed ticks. Real tiny, get into places like the waistband. Take a good look under a magnifying lens. I got them when I walked thru the grasses in my garden.

You have chiggers...and yes, you can see them. Go Google "chiggers".
