I think the truck would stop.

Looks to be a Nissan Frontier which has a 4.0L V6 (assuming this pic has the largest engine available) with 281 lb-ft of torque.

Tow Strap probably has a 20,000lb break strength.

I'd pay to see them try and take off though.
