...about these scammers? In my snail mail today:

From the Law Offices of Daniel Radebaugh, LLC in Towson, I received a letter stating that, according to their records, my home loan is in default and facing foreclosure (not true). They then inform me that I am eligible for a loan modification (also not true). And oh, by the way? If this information is incorrect (which it is), I am to contact their office to correct it.

Oh, and this is my FINAL notice!!

At the bottom there's a lot of fine print stating that the above information may or may not be true, and that I may or may not actually qualify for a loan modification.

Send it to the AG Office and report it as SPAM!!!!

You do deserve to pay less than you owe to creditors and even the IRS. Heard it on TV but I was copying down a phone number for a lawsuit I think I can be part of so I missed all the details.

The lawsuit was one for anybody that has breathed air in the past 5 years. I knew my ship would come in.

Not much, but if you're willing to pay enough interest, I could leverage some stuff to get a pile of cash to loan to you, and then buy some credit default swaps against the risk of you defaulting, and then ... boom ... profit!

And then I can adopt a Swahili orphan - two of them! - and default on my loan, but you all won't be able to take my house because I'll be the single parent of underprivileged children.

And I won't care that you defaulted because I'll be covered by the CDS. I just have to make sure I get the CDS from someone big and systemically important so that, if they're gonna go broke before they can pay up, the government will have to step in and make sure they don't fail. I see winners all the way around and nary a loser in sight. What's wrong with all of these so called financial experts? This stuff is easy. In like a half hour, Vrai and I devised a legal, no-lose, get rich quick scheme. :yahoo:

See, and because I look like your neighbor and not like some crack ho, I can get a lawyer and hit the talk show circuit to drum up sympathy and fear - "THIS CAN HAPPEN TO YOU, TOO!!!!" :jameo: :bawl:

So not only will I get my house, but I'll get settlement money because the big mean rich finance people tried to screw my Swahili orphans out of their home. I might even become a paid expert commentator on CNN!

On the other hand, if she gives up her dignity, she wins but, what does she become? I'd suggest not the person you'd vote for now.
