What else?

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent a pulmonary lobectomy today at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Two nodules in the lower lobe of her left lung were discovered incidentally during tests performed at George Washington University Hospital to diagnose and treat rib fractures sustained in a fall on November 7. According to the thoracic surgeon, Valerie W. Rusch, MD, FACS, both nodules removed during surgery were found to be malignant on initial pathology evaluation. Post-surgery, there was no evidence of any remaining disease. Scans performed before surgery indicated no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body. Currently, no further treatment is planned. Justice Ginsburg is resting comfortably and is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days. Updates will be provided as they become available.

I wonder what else she is not telling us is wrong with her, since they found these nodules some time ago and we didn't know about them.

Well, she's older than God so it shouldn't surprise anyone that she has health issues.

What's amazing to me is that she hasn't retired long ago. Who the hell wants to spend their last years working for the freaking government? Doesn't she have any kids or grandkids to enjoy? Is her husband still alive? Doesn't she want to travel and do something fun? The progs are keening with grief and throwing themselves on the floor at the thought of her not being one of the Supremes but my god - leave that woman alone. She's done enough for you selfish Socialist pigs.

And I'll tell you something else:

If she weren't a Supreme Court Justice she'd have been moved to an assisted living facility long ago. There should be a mandatory retirement age for Justices (and Senators and Congresstards, etc). They also should be booted when it becomes clear that they are not healthy enough to do their job. Talking to you, Ted Kennedy. John McCain. And yes, Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Shove off and let someone else have the job.

Obviously she feels it is her bound duty to stop the Judicial Conservatives.
Which in truth means that all of her decisions are biased.

After that #### show with Kavanaugh, can you imagine what they'll pull when it's time to replace RBG?

Ya know what's funny?
They did their best to screw over Kavanaugh, and he isn't a real Conservative either.
I don't trust him any farther than I trust Roberts.

Given her latest health issues, that could happen here shortly. I can't wait to hear what excuses they come up with for objecting to the next nomination. Climate denier, member of a satanic cult, told fart jokes in middle school, removed multiple tags off of mattresses, regularly exceeds the posted speed limits.

You need to move to a different country. This equal representation/equal justice thing just isn't for you.

There should be a mandatory retirement age for Justices (and Senators and Congresstards, etc). .

Term limits of no more than 2 terms..Elections every 2 years on a rotating basis of X amount of Sen and Reps for continuity. I am sick of seeing some of these congress critters going into office worth 150k and 10 yrs later (if re-elected) being worth 3mil. Term limits could stop the self-enrichment programs in congress. Long term Senators and Reps don't add value to running our government.

you'll need to include the staffing as well.

Even when the positions change through an election, the staff for that office remains the same. many of them weild more power than The incoming Congress critters.

So you like the Supreme court divided by politics and not the rule of law.
Good for you.

You want equal political views in the SCOTUS when I want the rule of law.

And they have a great deal of influence on that Representative also.

The Supreme Court should be politically Neutral.
Something that in the past they were fairly good at adhering to at least were able to fool most of us into thinking they were.

It seems it is in the past few years that the political parties have destroyed this fantasy..

Holding up votes because some President or other gave their name in nomination instead of looking at the record of the nominee, and their expertise and knowledge.
I suppose Justice Thomas was the first I noticed it, but it could have started before that.
Probably did.

But to deny that politics is in the Supreme Court is to deny there are 2 genders only.

Actually you were the one who said you don't like the Justices who aren't your idea of "conservative". Not sure how you're getting "rule of law" out of your personal political inclination.

Well don't worry about it so that it keeps you awake.

It's not all that earth shattering.
