She wasn't let off. It was statutory rape, meaning that it is against the law because at least one of those involved was under the age of consent. It is a far cry from forcible rape. 2 yr prison sentance, suspended. Mandatory that she register as a sex offender which will haunt him/her forever, 6 years probation, . All very typical be it man, or woman.

What bothers ME about this story, is that it took 10 days in an all male prison before SOMEONE noticed while in the shower that she wasn't a male. How's THAT for ugly.
