I'm not THAT old. :neener:

I am not either, and I have seen it. It is a great movie. I like a lot of Cary Grant and James Stewarts stuff. How about Hitchcock, seen a lot of him?

Anyone also seen Big Trouble in Little China? I need to show that to my kids I think. That movie was freaking hilarious.

Paper Moon I have been told I need to see this. Need to add it to the video store list.

The invasion of the body snatchers (black and white version) Good choice!

Taxi Driver Again!

Night of the Living Dead (black and white) Definitely. You ever see the original The Fog? I hope they do well with the remake.

Many more to come when this philosophy paper is done.:ohwell:

Blockbuster always has it! I went in to rent it a few weeks ago to write an asian politics paper on it and they were out. :burning:lol

I like the part when the two go into the room and start battling and Russell shoots in the air and does a manly rebel yell and bricks come down and whack em'.:lmao:

It was. I wonder who rents it around here.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye and asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail.

Clockwork Orange: It is a weird flick but the gist of it is Malcolm McDowell (killed Jimmy Kirk in Star Trek: Generations) is a twenty something gang leader that gets off on "ultra-violence" (random beatings)and the "'ol in and out" (rape). He gets caught and they try a bizarre behavior modification technique that gets him physically ill when he sees violence. It is a good movie but the dialogue is tough to keep up with sometimes. It is worth watching, if just for the wardrobe...you'll see.

Watching the movie is much easier than reading the book (in Cockney). It is a great film though. :yay:

You will have to watch it a few times to probably understand it.

Most of Kubrick's films are like that, lots of hidden meaning. I still cannot find one person who know's...

What the man in the teddy bear suit and the man dressed up in a tux located far across the hallway into a room mean in The Shining. This is where the dame is running all around the hotel at the end and witnesses all the ghosts. WTF does this teddy bear mean?

Just a few here and there. Psycho was awesome!:yay: How about the scene where they have the unsettling talk and she goes back into her room where Norman Bates looks through his 'peep' hole. It's never a good idea to kill off what appears to be your main character but somehow Hitchcock pulls it off.
