We have movie night  and game night.

When my two sons and I lived in the apartment in DC I use to do movie Sundays. Head to Blockbuster's and rent two movies and buy them a big box of candy each and one for myself. We had microwave popcorn, ice cream and juice at home already.

We would pile into the living room usually after lunch on Sunday afternoon and watch movies and snack. This we did from their ages of 4 and 8 til we moved here when they were 6 and 10. I am sad to say that I now let them do movie time together while I do other things, my patience is not what it use to be.

I fall asleep with them in the theaters watching Ice Age 1 and Madagascar. I just don't have it in me anymore. But Akeelah and the Bee was excellent. I love the change in the AMC Lex Pk.

But yeah, that would be the one for us Geek. :yay:

:yeahthat:Friday night is usually my night.

I take my kids out to dinner in a real resaurant once or twice a month. We go to the movies when something cool comes out(not often) and reading together and playing in the yard is about it.
We make an effort to get over to my best friends house to spend the night with her family once a month.
