What kind of aircraft

is large, triangular in shape, and would have two smaller aircraft flying behind it in the area of Callaway today? Saw two of them today around 4:30. It looked so odd at first that I actually thought it was some weirdly shaped kite or balloon way up in the sky because I couldn't hear anything and it looked as though it was floating in a straight line rather than flying. Then I saw a glint like metal off the chaser planes.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like it in this area before. Any guesses?

When I worked at Edwards AF base in CA, we were not allowed near the B-2's. I was on flight line sweeper often and could not even get close.
But I got close enough to admire it!

Saw it at a NASCAR race sometime after 9/11..either at Richmond or Charlotte, pretty wild when its coming toward you, looked like a pencil line in the sky before it banked and the batman theme started.

My girl was fishing with her dad just above the upper pax river bridge today. Along with the B2's were F22's and F35 fighters.

They were flying over our whole area, but I was in the house prepping the food & getting ready to fire up my grill and didn't get to see them. 😭

My girl said they circled pax river three times waiting for the right time to head to DC.

Yes I'm aware. I've seen lots of things with a few decades of working for Otis. Along with living in Maryland for 45 yrs with 10 of those in Trent Hall on pax river.
