And my 120 monster has a hissy fit if he does not get a piece of pizza.....:lmao:

I had a lab years ago *before children* that was my baby and he got an ice cream from the ice cream truck everyday in the summer. My mom was watching him one year while we were on vacation and she called us and said that the dog was going crazy, pacing, whining and scratching at the door. She couldn't figure it out and neither could I until I remembered about the ice cream truck. I told her and her reply was *your kidding right*, but she got him a popsicle and he was happy........:killingme

We had a cat years ago, gone to kitty heaven now, she loved poptarts!

My one lovebird loves for me to dip my finger in syrup and let her eat it off the tip of my finger.

My ferret loves raisins, who woulda ever guessed that one, but he insists on having a raisin for a treat everyday. :howdy:

A long time ago someone told me onions were deadly to dogs. My sister had a beagle and didn't tell me until after the dog died that the dog loved onions, would eat them whole and had been doing this since she was a puppy. The dog was 16 when she died. Go figure.

I heard that chocolate was deadly to dogs.

I was visiting a friend for the weekend and I had brought her a dozen chocolate donuts. When we went out, her dog got on the counter and ate them all. I thought that he was a goner, but he was fine.

Actually it's baker's chocolate, it is very deadly to dogs. I used to know this woman who was quite wacko, she had the amounts of how much baker's chocolate would kill what breed of dog. It really doesn't take much. Like I said, she was a nut case and hated dogs and said she would give any dog that came on her property some baker's chocolate. Tylenol will drop a dog quick too. When I worked for a vet, someone brought in their Great Dane, they had given him one extra strength Tylenol and he was dead within 30 minutes. So very sad.

OMFG. What prompted them to give the dog Tylenol?

That is so horrible that I just laughed out loud.

It was horrible, it was a terrible thing to see because there was not one thing anyone could do to reverse the effects of the Tylenol. Such a beautiful dog too. I guess they meant well, but had no idea what would happen.

Wow. They probably meant well, but dogs are not people (even if we talk to them as if they are). I always want to share my treats with my pup, but I know I might be hurting him.
