What kind of outfit is Wells Fargo running, that no one noticed?

When I saw just the headline and a link, I thought this was one of those joke things like "Employees who die on the job will be terminated for not properly giving notice" things that went around in factories and offices in the late '70s and into the '80s.

No. No it's not.

An investigation is underway after a 60-year-old Wells Fargo employee was left deceased at her desk for four entire days before she was discovered.

In what was presumably a typical day at the office, Denise Prudhomme scanned in for work at around 7 am on August 17th at the Wells Fargo branch in Tempe, Arizona.

However, she is believed to have died at some point during that day after she never scanned out of the premises.

If she doesn't do enough to be noticed in 4 days she should be really easy to replace.

Well, it WAS over a weekend. So sometime on Saturday she died. No one was there on the weekend. It says most people work remotely, so not very many people may have been onsite. They noticed a smell in the building. Probably ignored it most of the day, then went searching. They said her office was out of the way. Still, sad that no one she knows noticed she was missing for the whole weekend.
