What makes a guy attractive?

It's just a bit confusing to me to read here that, what you ladies find attractive in a guy, contradicts what many of you have settled for that's all. You say: "intelligence, wit, ambition & stability" and yet I've read how you complain about your "man" being lazy (counters the ambitious part), not too smart (counters intelligence) and not having a good job (countering the stability part). Trust me, I do read what many of you post from your heart.

What a man is at home after 20 years isn't necessarily what he was when he was a hardworking, had all his braincells, 25 year old. Just because the person you fell in love with doesn't CURRENTLY fit your "perfect SO" description, doesn't mean that he never did

and nobody is perfect :yay:

:lmao: Well...

I don't have a man, so I'm not settling for any of it.

I have settled in the past... but not anymore.

Oh I see what you're saying.

As for myself, I've never had a momma's boy, not my current BF or my ex-husband; I could not tolerate that, I want to be a partner to my man not a babysitter.

Good, I'm glad that you found a good one. Please tell me (my original question) what made you fall for (stay with) the first one?
I was pregnant and I wanted to rise baby on my own. I was hormonal and said yes. That worst mistake in my life gave me the best gift ever, I guess I thank him for that atleast.

Funny that was the first and last mamma boy I have ever been with. I'm too old for that stuff.

Finally! Thank you (67 posts later). I do not mean to ridicule, I just want a real answer for my own sanity. Hormones happen and it DOES explain why a lot of young girls are in the situation they're in. I'm glad you learned from it and will be wiser the next time around. Thanks for your honesty.

1) That's called breech of contract.
2) I never fell in love with any guy.:lmao:
3) No 25 year old has all his or her brain cells. See, you have an early start on this JB.:yay:
