Being serious, and you know how much I hate being serious, my understanding is that she is an RN at a hospital that was forced to work a 10-hour shift with no breaks nor opportunity for even a snack.

I think this was a one-hit wonder for the Stampeders called "Sweet City Woman." I was wrong...I just looked. They had several hits in the top 100, but this was their only original hit. Two of their other hits were covers of "Hit the Road, Jack," and "Got My Mojo Working."

They actually had a fairly productive and extensive career, starting in 1964, and continuing through today.

Speaking of "Got My Mojo Working," there is, seemingly, no one who hasn't covered this song. This is the Stampeders, and honestly, it sounds like a lounge group trying to get funky with the blues. It really doesn't work for me.
