What The H*ll Is A "Yellow Pass"?

You hear of some strange things.

Anyhow, there is a "pre screening" type of thing you can be a part of, but I can't remember if it's sponsored by TSA/Dept of Homeland Security or another agency. It basically gives you a "free pass" for air travel.

Yeah, I read a lot.

"Free Pass"?? You mean this "pre-screening" negates the cost of a plane ticket??

My guess is that Chasey meant "free pass" to mean you won't have to have a TSA agent get all "up close and friendly" with you when going thru security.
I don't know if there is such a thing. Haven't heard of a "Yellow Pass" before.

If it was a way of being cleared, wouldn't they use "Green" (Go) instead of "Yellow" (Caution)?
Or is "Green Pass" too similar to "Green Card"? :killingme

Another way of collecting performance statistics

.....for flying within the U.S..

Anybody ever hear of THIS one??

I can't find any info about "Yellow Passes."

Evidently, at various times during the day, TSA monitors how long it takes to clear security for statistical purposes. If you think these statistics are "fudged" like the departure times for airlines, you would likely be correct.

What I'm trying to get at is; this "yellow card" or whatever the H*ll it's called.....is included with the cost of the airline ticket. Right??

So, there is NO need for additional funds after paying for a ticket (?)

Peace
From what I understand you give them an ok to investigate, or whatever you want to call it, you completely and you bypass then long lines at security. No extra cost. At least not monetarily. I'm not sure I'm down with it.

No, the yellow card is part of a TSA monitoring thing, and there is no cost for it (not even on your ticket).

Pre-screening/Secure flight also does not involve any fees, but it does require a lot of paperwork and honestly I don't see how it's any quicker.

However, if you are submitting checked baggage, have a skycap, or upgrade your flight, all of these items have fees that are set through the individual airline you fly and will have to be paid for in addition to your ticket.

I just came thru a Delta flight, and they had some kind of 'security enhancement' program where you scan your ticket and turn it in for a new pass which replaces your boarding pass, supposed to speed you thru security faster. It had a name, sounds like what is being discussed, but could not find any info on the Delta website or airport info.

So this "pass" basically says that your scrote has been fondled, folded, spindled and mutilated and no further kneading, poking or prodding is needed?
