Jeezus H. Christ, I thought I had heard it all! That is, until I was at the St. Charles Mall in Waldorf this evening. As the missus and I were shopping in Macy's, out of the clear blue, comes this voice over the mall speaker system. Mind you, there was no voice-over, interpretation, or anything; just this voice; in Spanish!!!!! I look at the missus and the couple shopping next to us and exclaim, "What the ****!" Seems the mall maintenance people were paging some of the custodians for one reason or another. But why not in english. THIS IS THE GOOD OL' U.S.of A.; I think!!!

to your first post. My wife works at Macys and most of the custodial crew does not speak English. At least they are working and not out knocking folks in the head. Their English will come, just like it has for most of those who have imigrated to this country...the melting pot lives!

Who the F cares what F'n language they used. Obviously they didn't mean you, so STFU. English is NOT the "American Language". My family is Italian. My great grandparents didn't speak English. As a mater of fact, they butchered our last name to fit THEIR illiterate ways of spelling. For the love of God, what the hell makes us think they should conform to us? Did the pilgrims take up the "native " language when we invaded their land and called it our own? No. We pressed our beliefes/opinions on them but offered "reservations" for them. BFD, I'm sure they were so grateful (not). We were bastards from the beginning and posts like this confirm my beliefs that the world has far too many bigots in it. For the love of God, WTF is the problem with speaking another language? Give it a rest already as$wipe.
