What To Do On A Rainy Day?

2 days ago the weather report for tomorrow for was 73 degrees and partly sunny - so my sister and I planned for a vacation day to take the kids to the zoo. A nightmare with the festival starting, yes, but we really wanted to do it. Now the forecast is saying that there is a 60% change of rain and thunderstorms and we obviously think that an outdoor activity is a bad idea! So where else is good to go - something special - on a rainy day? Kids ages are 2, 3, 6 and 7 and we are willing to drive up to 1.5 hours to get there.

Any ideas?

My son went to the Spy Museum with a friend today. He's 15 but there's something for everyone. It HAS to be good if a teenager likes it!

My second cousin owns/runs it, Francis ( Gary ) Powers, I have never been to it. Let me know how he liked it.

too young for spy museum. I'd go with the aquarim in Baltimore or the science museum in DC.
or just have a tent city (couple of chairs and a big sheet) in the family room and watch movies and eat hot dogs and stuff!
