What weird thing to you regularly buy at the grocery store?

Today is the Publix BOGO sneak peek and most of it's crap I never buy.

So who buys Bird's Eye Voila! frozen skillet meals?
Bumblebee canned chicken
energy drinks
Lucky Charms bars
Hot Pockets
Lunchables
pickled giardiniera
yak cheese dog treats
vegan chicken nuggets
tons of chips, candy, and assorted junk food
Totino pizza rolls
?

It's always amazing to me, the overwhelming number of products we have in our stores. Who buys all that? Who buys $10 pots of bougie yogurt? Even on BOGO that's absurd.

The weird things I regularly buy that most people probably don't are kefir and La Banderita tortillas. Other than that my staples are pretty normal - eggs, butter, mustard, cheese, coffee....

So what unusual thing is a regular purchase for you?

I'm really craving s*it on a shingle. Assuming the dried beef is the s*it and the toast is the shingle, SOS is impossible w/o dried beef.

I saw 'Chipped Beef' made with ground beef on an episode of Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives once and the owner/cook was a retired Marine. I thought okay, just the Marines fixed it like that, and yes, he did refer to it as Fo-Schizzle on a shingle.

My dad retired from the Navy. I served for twenty years. I have eaten in mess halls and onboard ships from California to the New York Islands. I have NEVER eaten s*it on a shingle that was made with ground beef. That would be like eating a Baltimore crabcake made with surimi.
