What Would an ‘Open Borders’ World Actually Look Like?

White Flight happened because the extant homeowners knew the property values would plummet when the racial makeup of the neighborhood changed. And they were right.
That could best be filed under self-fulfilling prophecy.

And yet gentrification is a bad thing.
It's both good and bad. It's good because it addresses one issue, the rotted tax base of the city.
Bad because it forces poor people out of their homes, it displaces people who can't afford the luxury apartments and shops.

The link in the OP in no way limits the "open borders" concept to moving/living to/in another country. It's the movement from one country to another for a plethora of reasons. Could be to live. Could be to work. Could be to visit.

I thought the last two paragraphs were good. The severe lack of human empathy surrounding the immigration argument is pretty stunning, at least from the majority of this forum.
When your parents said you could be whatever you wanted to when you grew up...

Were obtuse douchebag & ******* REALLY the only 2 options that interested you?

Does this help? -> "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche"

How about this?

There is no point it's part of the liberals who believe the whole world could move in on us and we would feed them and look out for their welfare, because that is what a charitable nation is supposed to do.

They change their mind when we start looking like Venezuela.and they are dumpster shopping for food.
