Dwayne pimps 3 ho's. If the price is $85 per trick, how many tricks per day must each ho turn to support Dwayne's $800 per day crack habit?

They really aren't accomplishing what they set put to do. They are proving White Supremacy.

The operative part of that story:

On October 25, the Pittsburgh Public Schools Board voted in favor of a measure that will pay Quetzal Education Consulting $50,000 to help tackle white supremacy in mathematics.

So what do we get for $50,000?
We're gonna show teachers how to not teach racist math.
What exactly is racist math?
That question is racist.
I'm sorry. What exactly will your program entail.
We'll teach the teachers additional foundational knowledge of antiracist math pedagogy and tangible learning experiences that can be implemented with students.
I don't know what that means.
That's because you're a racist.
Oh. Anything else?
We'll help teachers challenge oppressive practices in math instruction with practices that center the wellness of students of color.
I see...
And provide opportunities for math departments and teachers to grow their antiracist math praxis collaboratively in pedagogy and instruction.
Mmm hmm....

In short, somebody's cousin will be getting paid to make at-risk black children even more at-risk and unemployable in the future. This means they'll have to turn to the streets - drug dealing, theft, etc - to make a living, which keeps Democrats in power through another generation.

Smart 👍

I wonder about black parents who got an education, worked hard, and became successful - what do they think of young Jamal coming home and informing them that education is racist and they don't teach math or English or other white supremacy subjects at his school anymore?

Parents of all races - except Asians - achieve so their kids don't have to. They want their kid to have it easier than they did and are willing to pay for it, which is why you see so many young adults still living with their parents and failing to launch. So I wonder if black parents are going, "Wait a minute..." or if they're all, "Hell yeah! I hated that stuff when I was in school and I worked hard so my child doesn't have to learn anything"?

And another thing:

Democrats work very hard to keep black people enslaved by ignorance and illiteracy. But white people are lazy aholes too, so you'd think Democrats would go after them as well.

The only thing I can think is that black people of all socioeconomic backgrounds tend to embrace their gutter dwelling race mates, whereas white people don't. White people are more about social class than race - they will embrace a black person in their social class before they will another white person several rungs down from them. But rich black guys consider themselves the equal of a black nodded out tweaker crashed at a condemned building with 200 other people. They are brothers, whereas a rich white guy doesn't want anything to do with white derelicts.

This is why social science is the most interesting subject of all. :nerd:

So does this mean if a black student gets a math problem wrong its because of white supremacy or racism .?

Or do they say the kid tried and pass them on wrong answers.

I'm already alarmed at the fact that young people are unable to do simple math. And I am not talking children. Something at the store rings up as 4.76 - and I hand them a five - and a penny - because I want a quarter back - and they look at me like I had three heads. Sometimes, if the machine doesn't TELL them what the change is, I end up a dollar UP, because they can't do something as simple as count change.

Or tell someone to multiply a recipe - or mentally approximate which item costs less per ounce or pound - or unable to discern that the wording of a sale shows that it's not a sale at all. Mentally add up the lunch costs, add tax and tip and divide it among six people. Without paper.

And that is ARITHMETIC - pretty much the easiest math there is, although more challenging to do with bigger numbers.
________________________________________________________________________

That, among industrialized nations we so oftne come in LAST in math and science, I used to attribute to the fact that we try to educate EVERYONE - including millions of kids who don't even speak the language - unlike many countries, especially in the East, where not everyone even GOES to school.

Not true. Fact is, they're being taught by nitwits who know all about "teaching" but not about the actual subject matter.

Had a bill of 19.76 at Wendy's once, gave the guy a twenty and 76 cents..he gives me 24 cents back..I say no, you owe a dollar back..He says the register says 24 cents..I try to explain to him but he argues on, then got pissed and crumpled up a dollar and threw it at me. The guy was about 30 or so.

I do math in my head, astounded a lot of folks when I was at Lowe's, both in sales departments and when I was a cashier.
