I just ordered Spicy Hot Beef and a spring roll from Charlie Chang's.

I was supposed to have dinner with a friend in Solomons, but she had to cancel at the last minute AND after I had driven all the way over there.

I guess it's now leftovers from the fridge.

We grabbed chicken from Popeyes since it is just me and the kids tonight.

Chinese takeout. Too busy to cook these days. I want my house back in order and my life back to normal.

But my carpet that was to be installed Monday, got wet during the monsoon we had Friday. Looks to not be a single dry day this week, so we've gone to plan B and hauled the carpet in and have it unrolled and drying via fans and my handy dandy kerosene heater (prays I don't end up poisoned )

I also couldn't bear being without my internet connection whilst this drama plays out. I hauled all my parts and pieces back into my uncarpeted living room, and am set up with the kiddie table and a roll of carpet padding to plant my rear on.
