Once the franchise investors and potential renters see a list of hundreds of people who won't ever set foot in their stores: they won't sign the lease....
If they don't sign the lease....the developer doesn't get the $$$
If the developer doesn't get the $$ then the Banks are hesitant to fund the next venture...


and somebody down at Zoning is going to have long nightmares of approving strip malls that sit empty.
Who gets to pay taxes on empty store fronts?

If only the people of Calvert were to say: NO we are not shopping at more suburban crappy strip malls...we have enough of them now.

The area toward the high school is not shown as being developed but something is going on. Maybe John Gott is doing something new and just hasn't gotten around to telling anyone yet.

They'd dayum well better start putting in the other road out of here. I know they have another exit planned for getting out of the rear areas of the Ranch Club and Drum Point. They need to get going on the road.
