What's good?

I have had my lap top for months and have never gotten around to setting it up the way I want to.

I have Office 2007 on here and that's it.

What's some good stuff I can put on here? I think I'll use Firefox again because I love how easy it is to use. I can get Photoshop again if I want and I'm looking for a planner that will run continuously on my desktop.

I took out the Napster thingy because I could care less about ripping music.

Got any suggestions?

Well, what is your going to use it for ?

are you doing Photo editing ? are you really using the advanced features of Photoshop ... or do you just need something to resize pictures ?

IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

if your just doing web browsing and occasional letter writing do you really need office 2k7 .... or do you bring work home ...

are just installing these programs because they are available ?

understanding what your goal will help get you where you want to be ....

The lap top is mostly for work use, but I don't really use it so much for work related stuff.

I use PS3 for photos and artwork and making stuff for people who have no idea who to use it. I do resumes and letters and flyers for whoever asks me to.

The office program is there for my personal writing and because its better than 2003.

I load different things on my computer so I can learn how to use them in case I ever need it for a job. I had this cool drafting thing on my PC and learned about designing homes and reading blueprints.
I'm not much in to games and MySpace is boring now, I just want somethings to play with that are functional:shrug:

That sounds interesting. But if you have a cell phone hooked up to sync to your computer's Outlook Express, would this be useless?

Probably, but I don't do that. I think your talking about syncing with Outlook, and I hate Outlook. I find using this calendar a heck of a lot easier then trying to figure out Outlook. I usually use Outlook Express and I don't think there is a feature for that on there. I'm also old fashioned. I only use my cell phone as a phone, I rarely use it for anything else.

I'm not a phone person. I usually just use my cell phone to text and play Bubble Buster.

I prefer to communicate via texts or emails.

I use my phone for the phone and quick reminders of appointments and my work schedule.
I want a computer calender that I can track everything in that pops up as soon as I turn it on. Otherwise, I'll forget about it.
Office2k7 has this notebook thing but I don't like it, not organized enough or easy to read.

I got some cool stuff from Cnet, including my unlimited version of PS3.

Any other sites have cool computer do hickeys?
