What the heck does furl mean and all those other thingies? When I "furled" someones post (which I thought was like hurling) it said it was sending it somewhere. Why and where?

Furl and the others are like online bookmarking sites. You can save full-text webpages (news stories, forum posts, whatever) to your furl account to access them later. You can also share them with others.

What is the purpose of this? Not really sure. I figure it's like any new internet thing - they run it up the flagpole and see who salutes. :shrug:

I really don't understand why some of you are having such a problem with these rather minor changes. It's not like learning to walk all over again, more like just getting a new pair of shoes.

Anyway, I'll go over all these buggies with David and he'll get them straightened out as he can. Right now he's trying to fix the chat.

If David can fix chats, can I bring my new kitten over and have him fixed? Is it cheaper than the vet?

You can take web pages, such as news or these forum threads, and put them in your own file for future reference or to share with others. It's like a web scrapbook.
