When editing posts. Is it different now? Seems like before the whole page had to refresh. Now it seems like only the post refreshes when done editing. Seems faster.

I suppose I could be doing something wrong...but when I click to insert a URL it doesn't give me the option to "name" it like it did before.

That's because it names itself using the title of the URL.

Furl and the others are like online bookmarking sites. You can save full-text webpages (news stories, forum posts, whatever) to your furl account to access them later. You can also share them with others.

What is the purpose of this? Not really sure. I figure it's like any new internet thing - they run it up the flagpole and see who salutes. :shrug:

But, but, but, how do you get it back? It just says it is saving it to the server (St. Mary's County Govt. aint gonna be happy about that) and then it goes away. Where is it? Do I have a furl account? We figured it was a cross between farting and hurling.

If you signed up for one, yes. If not, you can click the Furl link and it will just take you to their website to sign up for an account.

I made the mistake of taking him off my ignore list so that I could see something.... now it won't read his name right!!

That's what I did, but the glitch is still there.

Hey, I got it. I had to hand type his name into the ignore list and it works!

Not sure what to tell you. If Bronwyn and I can ignore him, but you can't, then it's got to be something with your computer.

We both got it to work by manually entering his new user name into the ignore list. If you try to pull up his profile, it pulls up his old profile so it doesn't ignore his new name.

Sometimes I see a column with boxes to the right on the forums page after I hit "new posts"...I can select/deselect those items. Other times...I can't see it.
