This was all over the news yesterday. The number of excuses and responses was laughable. For one thing, Joe repeatedly says he had no idea they were here or there - which in itself is scary enough. But what, did his lawyers shove them in his garage? Joe put them there - and lied about it.

And then he says well he locks the garage. Oh. But you didn't know they were there. In your garage. Stuff that as a VP you weren't allowed to have.

Again, devil's advocate. I have an office chair, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and 4 boxes of folders/documents from when I retired 4 years ago sitting in the corner of my garage right next to my not-corvette.

Doesn't speak to the classified-ness of the documents, but in terms of cleaning out your office and throwing shet in the garage it fits.
