What's with all the recent UFO stuff?

Been a lot in the news very recently. Even some 'revelation' that they've been seriously investigated.

What are they? I don't think it's likely that we have THAT many extraterrestrial visitors coming here, unless
they're HERE already, in which case, why would they fly about so obviously, since they don't seem interested in contact?

People instantly associate UFO with extraterrestrials. In reality, to the government, if we don't know what it is and it is flying, it is a UFO.
