Wheel bearing caps.

Just having bought a trailer I wanted to check the grease, also replace tires, but a different can of worms. Anyway there was no way they were coming off without destroying them. So I did. Nicely greased of course. Now I need new caps. These look to be 2" inner diameter. Um 2" does not go in. I even put the cap in the freezer for a half hour. No dice. Measured the inner diameter of the hub and it is 1.95" . I found some at about 1.97. Never had any problems with this crap before.

Was the trailer made in china and uses some weird metric size? I thought they were all pretty standard.

If it's thin metal, just bang it on and let it shape itself.

Thanks, but it would be a kind of long drive from CO. It used to be there were only a couple sizes, now there seem to be a whole bunch. Some only a .02" apart.

No, it's a US company, but they mainly make boat trailers so I my go check that next if these new ones don't fit.
