Ok I want to get them started liking the outdoors. My husband loves it and so do I so I want to instill that in them as well. Where can I buy a tent this time of year is WalMart selling them?

I think they stock them year round.. check around.. they make some awesome tents now.

:yahoo: I am so glad everyone is talking about this now. I did not catch it this early last year and was not able to get prepared. I wanted to go so bad too. Has anyone set a date yet?

Sportsman's Guide is a good internet resource for tents & camping equipment if you can't find one locally. My oldest son gets most of his camping stuff there.

(I still remember one April boy scout camping trip I took with him when he was younger -- 2 pairs of wool socks, sweats, sweater on top of that, sleeping bag and still froze. I'd have been in deep sh*t if it hadn't been for the one Mom who stayed up feeding the fire all night. Luckily, there was coffee!! It took 2 days for my toes to thaw out! :killingme Aaaahhhhh, those were the days! )

Take it Easy I believe, where is Dennis Point and do they have a web site? I can look it up if you know if they have one I am just asking.
