Protection and revenge are two totally different things.

You can "protect" you and your family standing right where you are while immediately in danger.

If you seek to do anything to someone after the situation it would be revenge. Even holding a grudge is against the teaching in Matthew 5.

There is tons to read on the net about it...

If you are in a pinch and really need to know answers like this, just stop for a minute and try to think what Jesus would do. Perhaps ask him... and you will get an answer

When The Holy Bible says "Do not revenge" does it mean do not protect me/others

Or am I misunderstanding something/somethings/other/others?
 That is really a question that you need to research for yourself and not asking other people to give you the answer.

The Bible is not that complicated that you can not understand it for yourself.

People need to study the scriptures for one-self link HERE.

So what do you say the answer is? what does the Bible tell you about your question?:diva:
