In the Netherlands, actually. Zeeland is an island province in the western part of the country. New Zealand was discovered by a Dutchman and Dutch cartographers named it Nieuw Zeeland. Explorer James Cook anglicized it to New Zealand.

Nope...always took a taxi. Always stayed right near the beach, in town, and the shipyard (Royal Schelde, it was known then..it's Damen now) was some miles away. That said..a LOT of the yard employees did ride bicycles to work.
