Louis Farrakhan ordered to court / nwi.com

Minister Louis Farrakhan, the spiritual leader of the Chicago-based Nation of Islam, has been ordered to appear in Hammond federal court next month to explain why weekly cash stipends given to his 48-year-old son are not considered income.
Nasir Farrakhan has said he can't pay the debt because he has no income, has never been employed and has no checking account or savings.
He argues the $1,400 in cash he receives from his father each month is legally considered "charity,"
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I thought Farrakhan was the guy who urged blacks to work and support their families.Guess it doesnt count for those who work for his Muslim Church

Back has said the issue of whether Nasir Farrakhan's payments are charity or income could prove critical to the Nation of Islam because evidence indicates that other Nation workers are paid in the same arrangement.

If the money is deemed income, that could mean federal income taxes are owed by Nasir Farrakhan and the other workers.
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Why hasnt the IRS been all over this like stink on dog poop? It wouldnt have anything to do with why they allow Jesse to pay his child support out of Rainbow Coalition funds would it.

Sharpton also has a law suit he was supposed to pay and never did claiming his money belonged to the Church. Its time the IRS took a long look into a lot of things including Sharpton , Jesse and Farrakhan and stopped being frightened because they are black.

I don't see this being covered under tax-exempt status but you can never tell how and when "Justice" will be served. If Farrakhan loses this court case I wonder if there will be a "ripple" effect that affects other spiritual leaders/advisors such as Sharpton and Jackson?

I will make a cyber bet right now.

1. He wont lose ,the case will be dropped. (plaintive quietly bought off)
2. There will definitely be no ripple effect with Al and Jesse.

Well, originally, the plaintiff wanted $350,000 and Farrakhan would not pay it so if they get paid off now it would have to be a huge sum! Also - investigations of other people being paid these "regular allowances" within the Nation have begun so that would be lots of hush money. As for Sharpton & Jackson - no they probably won't be affected!
