Where to Eat?

I am wanting to do a special dinner this friday with my family and take them out to a place they have never been before. I want to cross off everything in Calvert and St. Marys counties. Could anyone give some advice on a nice, enjoyable, good family restraunt to grab a bite to eat. I would like to have a variety of food that is served and not the typical applebees or Rubys menu(if you know what I mean).

Fogo De Chao...In Wash DC. $$$ Bring your wallet and a good appetite.

I love Fado in DC. It's a really authentic Irish Pub. Great food, cool atmosphere. It'd be good for a nice romantic dinner, but it's also kid friendly.

P.G. County.. TUCKER'S on Dower House Road. Good home cookin' and bullet proof glass in the windows. Safe for the entire family....NOT.

That is soooo funny...I was just thinking of Berts today....we had a family dinner there last Feb. to celebrate all the family B-days in feb, valentines day, and hubby and I anniversary in Feb.....what a great time we had....my family really enjoys eating there....the milk shakes are awesome...rootbeer floats mmmmmmmmm.....

Berts is WAYYYYYYY to expensive for what you get, and it has gone down hill.

yeah there ice cream is good, but there food is way over priced and not that good.

In Calvert:

Adam's is always a good choice. Consistently good food, service and it's comfortable place for kids.

Jerry's Seafood is excellent. More expensive than Ruby's-type places but great food and service.
