Well after the big survey - everyone said to go to Williamsburg so am going in September - so need suggestions on where to go.. of course I've heard the Jamestown, Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and the Living Musuem thing - but like IN Jamestown or IN Yorktown or IN Colonial Williamsburg - which places should we see? Someone said go see the Governor's Place? TIA :howdy:

Not sure of the age of your kids, but here is a good 4 day filler;

Everything in Colonial Williamsburg is good to see. It will take a good 2 days (maybe 3 is a stretch) to leisurely take it all in. The gardens behind the Govenors Palace is awesome. :yay:

If you get the chance, make reservations for the Kings Arms Tavern... GREAT food and worth the splurge.

Spend a day or two at Busch Gardens, the rides, shows and attractions can fill up a couple of days.

Not sure outside of that, but you always have Jamestown to explore and you are somewhat close to VA Beach to take a day trip.

We go camping in Williamsburg about 6 or 7 times a year. You pretty much got the idea of what to do. Colonial Williamsburg is awsome and we also like water country. even my 3 year old can ride almost all the rides!!
