Where to put a Kayak in the water?

I have a little kayak that fits in the back of my pick-up, and I'm looking for some places to put it in the water. The public boat ramps are mostly on open water, and I'd rather paddle around in the smaller creeks. Are there any out-of-the-way spots where I can back up to the water, drop my kayak, and not get arrested for trespassing?

Greenwell State park or Forrest Landing Boat ramp, both in Hollywood. FL is on a creek, not open water, as well as Clarke's Landing.

You can drop in on the McIntosh near the Food Lion in Leonardtown and head down towards Breton Bay, might be some trees across the creek. Or put in at the bridge in Clements and go out into St. Clements Bay. Behind what used to be the 7-11 at the intersection of Rt 5 and Great Mills Road and take the St. Mary's all the way to Piney Point. Down to the south on Rt 235 you can get into St. Jeromes Creek and tool around there. What about from the college? You might have to walk up to a house and ask if you can leave your vehicle sit somewhere, as long as you are nice and respectful you shouldn't have any problem. They might look at you funny and want to know where you put the outboard, but I have found if you ask they usually don't mind. There are tons of places, grab a topo and figure it out.

If you have access to the base, you can go down by the beach house and drop it in there too.

Just before Webster Field, turn right. There's a little ramp there. You can tool around in the estuaries and around the college. I think you can drop it in the water at the college, too.
