It was 1968. I was in my Senior Year at Central High School. Things were tense. 14th & U Streets in DC were burning. People were looting. My parents were concerned. I just wanted some beer.
Lived at Livingston Rd. and Livingston terrace just off of Indian Head Highway about a half mile from Southern Ave. was a Sophmore at Potomac Sr. High School No problems at our Apt. but my parents were defintely concerned. Parents kept me and my friends that hung at our house on a very short leash..

Potomac Class of 70  My buddy and I would cruise through Glassmanor on almost a daily basis. He was Potomac 69 as was my wife.

Don't Ever Go Into A Se Dc Neighborhood Today Either, Cuz They Will Still Put A Brick Through Your Window And Steal Everything You Have In It. Happened To A Friend Of Mine In 2000 And Another Friend In 2008.
